A Good Samaritan Helped a Woman Who Was About to Give Birth

Who would think that there’s still “good Samaritan” living in this modern world? In a post uploaded by a concerned citizen, Khen Pili narrated how a man has helped his co-passenger in a jeepney in Lipa, Batangas. According to Khen, the couple was bound to the hospital. The man gave the couple Php1,500 and his phone number.

Along with the couple is a little girl who kept on crying. That’s why the man handed the little girl Php500 for foods. But the other passengers noticed that the pregnant woman was uneasy and seemed to be in pain. They have learned that the woman was about to give birth. They don’t have their own car or money to rent a car that’s why they took the private vehicle.

Again, the man gave an additional Php1,000 to the couple. He even gave his phone number to the couple so that they can call him in case they need help.

One of the netizen who have read the post also shared his experience. According to the netizen, it was his birthday and he was buying a BBQ when a man asked him why he bought that much. He replied; his friends are having a drinking spree because it’s his birthday. The man handed him Php1,000 while greeting him a “Happy Birthday”. He was hesitant to accept the money, but the man was persistent.

It doesn’t take much to be kind. Sometimes, all it takes is a random act of kindness. Keep in mind that constant kindness is the key to making the world a happy place.
