Catriona Gray bet Liza Soberano to be the Next Bb. Pilipinas Universe, but Liza Shows Hesitation

Catriona Gray’s stint as Miss Universe is already finished. There’s a new Miss Universe but other doors are opening up for her. The beauty queen is the new talent of the publishing company of ABS-CBN. During the press conference, reporters asked her who’s her bet for the next beauty queen. She is game when she said it’s Liza Soberano. The 2018 Miss Universe will launch her first book “Conquering Your Universe”. She is also starting her showbiz career.

She is aware that Liza is everybody’s bet for the title. But Liza has always said beauty pageants are not for her. She is always passionate about acting. Because of this, Catriona said that to become a beauty queen, a woman must have a passion for it. She must also be willing to undergo the challenges.

Lisa already acted as Pia Wurtzbach in Maalala Mo Kaya in 2017. Pia also won the Miss Universe title that year. She also wanted Liza to join the pageant. But, even if Liza’s dad and her boyfriend/loveteam Enrique Gil want her to, she won’t. She said that the pageant is simply not for her. Liza has always been honest about her shyness. She’s gone a long way and she seems more confident now. But you need more than confidence in pageantries. There’s no need to force Liza if she doesn’t want to. She is already a teen star. And, a lot of good things can happen to her as an actress. It may be that showbiz is her path.

Some women aspire to be beauty queens. But some have other plans. Liza is firm on her decisions and it looks like it’s not going to change soon. Either way, Liza will look good anywhere she is. That’s because she is a bright and kind star.
