In his Instagram post, Dee happily announced that they were able to get the world record for having the most number of kids being taught the Basic Swimming Skills and Water Safety in a span of one day only. Swimming aside from acting is one of the passions of Enchong Dee. He excels in it and is more than happy to share his talent and passion with the youth. The event was a part of his advocacy to give indigent children free lessons in swimming. He had been doing this for some time now. He started in 2015 with just 50 kids as participants. He had been a competitive swimmer since his early school days. It would be an understatement to say that he loves swimming that he had even started advocacy involving it.

Aqua Planet confirmed that the Philippines had exceeded the swimming lesson that was recorded in Florida, U.S. on June 20, 2014, where 1,308 participants were able to participate. This is the second time that Aqua Planet had hosted this event. Aqua Planet, together with the Bert Lozada Swim School, had been leading this advocacy and have been teaching kids in Pampanga some basic swimming lessons. The team is still waiting for the confirmation that they have won over the previous world record. They would have to wait until they are proclaimed as the new record holder.
