Fire Officer Examination 2018 Schedule – Do you want to join the noble force of men saving lives and properties from tragic fire and other calamities?

The Bureau of Fire Protection in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission will be conducting the Fire Officer Examination on June 17, 2018.  Interested individuals who want to join the BFP force may file their application from February 26, 2018 to April 27, 2018.

File your application the soonest possible time because the CSC Field/regional Office may close any time prior to the deadline was the target slots are filled up.

How to qualify as Fire Officer?

Anyone who wants to take the Fire Officer Examination should meet the set of qualification requirements including the following:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen, male or female
  • Must be a college graduate
  • Mentally and physically fit, of good moral character
  • No criminal record or dishonorably dismissed from any government or private employment or position
  • Must be 21 to 35 years old and no height requirement

Anyone who have passed the Board or Bar exams given by professional Regulations commission and Supreme Court may not take the FOE anymore. The same thing applies to an applicant possessing the Honor Graduate Eligibility.

Basic requirements for Fire Officer

  • Duly accomplished revised CS Form No. 100
  • Original and photocopy of valid ID
  • Four pcs. Passport size photo that measures 4.5cm x 3.5cm taken within 33 months before filing the application. The applicant must not wear colored contact lens, eyeglasses, or any accessories that may conceal the facial features.

The complete requirements should be personally submitted to any CSC field office or regional office. The examination fee is Php700 and is non-refundable. After the processor evaluates all the documentary requirements, the official receipt along with the examination slip will be released.

The applicant will be informed about the school assignment through ONSA. Make sure to print the ONSA and bring it on the examination day. The passing rate for the Fire Officer Exam is 80% and will be given the CSC 2nd level of eligibility.
