Guide in Taking the National Police Commission Exam | NAPOLCOM Exam Reviewer

The NAPOLCOM or the National Police Commission is an agency commissioned to practice operational supervision and administrative control in the Philippine National Police.

To ensure that the members of the PNP can provide credible and effective service, the NAPOLCOM administers police examinations. Those who want to join the National Police should take the PNP entrance test.

NAPOLCOM Exam Reviewer Coverage 

The PNP entrance exam is divided into four subject areas that include the following:

1. General information – The examinee should have idea about the Philippine Constitution and History, Criminal Justice System, PNP Law and History, Value Judgment and Social Awareness, and Current events.
2. Quantitative reasoning – This subject area includes problem solving skills and basic concepts.
3. Verbal reasoning – Just like qualifying examinations, the PNP entrance examinee should review about vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.
4. Logical reasoning – It is also included in the PNP Entrance exam logical reasoning both verbal and non-verbal.

The passing score for the PNP Entrance exam is 70%. Thorough preparation is essential to pass the examination. Take time to review. Give yourself enough time to review about the subject areas included in the exam. Consider answering the practice tests. Read newspapers to familiarize current events. Likewise, do not miss reviewing even a single subject area.

If you’re unable to review on your own, the best thing to do is to enroll in a review center so that you’ll have all the necessary materials that will prepare you for the exam.

Prior to the scheduled date of exam, you should familiarize the location of the testing center that you’re assigned. Come earlier before the time so that you still have time to prepare and relax. Make sure to satisfy your stomach so that your brain will work optimally.

During the examination you should listen carefully to the test instructor.  This way, you’ll know what to do throughout the examination period.  According to NAPOLCOM the examination date will be on Examination Date:  April 22, 2018
