Look: From Bahay Kubo to Concrete Dream House | LET 2nd Placer Fulfills the Dream for Her Parents

Everyone dreams of something for themselves and their family. They work so hard to achieve whatever it is that they are dreaming for but many times along their journey, there are many obstacles that one will encounter before finally achieving whatever it is that they wanted. But the feeling of satisfaction and contentment is inexplainable once they have reached their dream. This is the case of a LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers) 2^nd placer Iah Seraspi. In 2015, she was got the 2^nd highest grade in the exams.

Iah is the daughter of a fisherman and life was never easy for their family. She passed the UPCAT (entrance exam at the University of the Philippines) but because they didn’t have the finances to support her studies at a big University in the City, she chose to study in a school near their residence. Through the help of the Esquejos family of Looc, Iah was able to finish her studies.

She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biological Science. Iah was a brainy student and very dedicated to her studies. She got a 90% score in the LET and got the Top 2 place. She used the prize money she got to buy a projector for their church.

She is now working at the review center where she enrolled in preparation for the LET. Iah happily shared that their nipa hut is now a concrete house. She was able to have this built through her perseverance and hard work. She shared on her Facebook post her never-ending thanks to Carl Balita who believed in her potential. She also thanked him for his words of wisdom and for giving her the motivation to reach her dreams. She also thanked her entire CBRC family. The netizens were all praises for Iah and commented that her parents are very lucky to have her as their daughter.
