Marian Rivera and Jane de Leon – Two Darna meet for the First Time

Before becoming a Kapamilya, the new Darna was part of the Kapuso network. Several Kapuso stars have worn the iconic Darna costume like Anel Locsin, Katrina Halili, and Marian Rivera. Now that the rights for Darna was given to ABS-CBN, a new star will be given a chance to portray the ever-famous Pinay Superhero. To date, Jane de Leon will be the latest Darna. The actress became popular after the Kapamilya network announced that she will be the one to portray the Superhero. She had been getting a lot of endorsements lately. Her latest endorsement is with the Belo Medical Group.

During the pictorial for the new ads of the Belo Medical Group for their New Phase, New Face Campaign, the two Darnas of different generations were able to meet. Marian Rivera shared this on her Instagram account. Marian uploaded their photos and said that she’s happy to have met the new heiress of the magic stone. The post went viral on social media.

The Scoop re-uploaded the post on their Facebook page and it got almost 10,000 reactions and 500 shares in just a few hours. The fans of the two actresses were delighted with the meeting of the two stars.

Meanwhile, the fans of Angel, Jane, and Marian wished to see the three of them in one project even in just one endorsement. There are also some fans who wished to see Liza with them even if the actress wasn’t able to portray the role. Angel Locsin became Darna in 2005 while Marian played the Superhero role in 2009. At present, Jane is busy preparing for the movie adaptation of the Pinoy Superhero. There’s no target date of showing yet and ABS-CBN hasn’t announced who will play the role of the villain.
