Netizens reacts on Miss World Megan Young loves for Kikiam and Kwek-Kwek

Kapuso actress and Starstruck alumna Megan Young is the only Miss World titleholder in the Philippines. Her intelligence and natural beauty gained admiration during the pageant thus emerging as Miss World 2013. Despite being glamorous and a beauty queen at that, Megan loves to eat street foods. Her favorite foods are kikiam and Kwek-kwek. The beauty queen shared this revelation on her latest post on Instagram.

Megan said that every time she sees someone selling kwek-kwek or kikiam on the street, she would surely stop to buy her favorite street food. She often eats these foods for breakfast. She was also surprised to see that the street vendor also sells fried squid. It was the first time she was able to taste it and found it to be very delicious. She also said that some people call kwek-kwek as tokneneng and Mikael Daez used to call it Fireballs.

Her post reached 70k likes and fellow celebrities felt like eating street foods like kwek-kwek, kikiam, and fried squid too. Kapamilya star and new Darna Jane de Leon was one of the celebrities who shared a comment on Megan’s post. Kapuso sweetheart Kate Valdez and Miss Eco Interntaional 2018 and The Gift star Thia Tomalia also posted a comment on the post.

Megan Young is a Fil-American actress who started in GMA-7’s reality search, Starstruck as a contestant but transferred to ABS-CBN later on. She returned to GMA-7 with an exclusive contract. She would later on the Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant where she was crowned as Miss World Philippines. Megan was crowned as Miss World 2013 in Indonesia and she was the first Filipina to get the Miss World crown. Her last project in GMA-7 was in the teleserye, Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko with Rayver Cruz and Kim Domingo. She also recently hosted Mister World 2019.
