Proceeds from “Doc Willie the Movie” will be for the Sick and Poor People

Doc Willie Ong’s life story will now be made into a movie. Willie Ong is a doctor and public servant. He is known to give free medical treatments and had been doing a medical mission for the longest time. He ran for the Senate in the May 2019 elections but unfortunately, he lost. His Facebook page has around 11M followers and the doctor had already shared a teaser of the said movie which will be shown next year. Doc Willie gives free medical advice through his Facebook page and it’s no wonder that it has already reached such a huge following.

Doc Willie Ong the Movie, will star Hero Angeles as the young Doc Willie while Rachelle Ricketts will be the young Doc Liza. PJ Abellana will be playing the older Doc Willie and Mariz Ricketts will be the older Doc Liza. The shooting had already started according to the Doctor.

Doc Willie said that the movie aims to give inspiration to the moviegoers not to give up despite the hardships of life. It will serve as an inspiration to depressed people and those that have seemed to lose hope. Doc Willie shared that he had been depressed in the past too but that didn’t stop him from achieving his dreams.

Doc Willie also revealed that the proceeds of the movie will be used in helping the sick and poor people. He further said that the movie will also feature all the hardships and trials they have gone through. He also thanked Reli de Leon, Philracom commissioner, for producing the movie.

He also thanked God for the unending guidance to him and his family and for directing him in this direction to help and serve the people who badly need help but had no means.
