The Philippine entertainment industry has produced so many successful stars. Many are still active and making names. But there are some who chose to live a normal life and left the spotlight. Just like Vanna Garcia, a beautiful actress who started her showbiz career with the Kapuso Network.

Vanna was a former child star and one of the famous actresses during her time. She joined many tv shows and appeared in many movies in the late ’90s. She did many projects with Viva films before leaving the showbiz industry.

But what happened to her after?
Vanessa Lorraine Garcia was born on March 21, 1987, in the USA. She started her acting career when she joined GMA’s “Thank God It’s Sabado” in 1999 and also appeared in Kapuso’s hit drama series “Sana ay Ikaw Na Nga.”

She transferred to the ABS-CBN network and joined the cast of “It Might Be You” in 2003 and had a chance to work with Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz. She also had a chance to work with actress Judy Ann Santos in the hit fantaserye “Krystala” in 2004. Aside from the TV shows, she was able to do roles on the big screen just like Lastikman (2004) and Juan and Ted (2000).

In 2007, Vanna gave birth to her first child and kept it private.
“Finding out I was pregnant was a terrifying thing for me. Yes, I was worried about my career then, and how people are going to accept being pregnant then a mother out of wedlock,” she said during an interview.

“Since before it was something that was not as taken normal with our society then,” she added.
After giving birth to her firstborn, her family became her priority. In October 2015, Vanna married the father of her kids, it was an intimate wedding. Now she is a mother of three and still having that angelic and beautiful face we all miss.
