SSS Accepts Contribution Payments Through GCash

As part of the continuing enhancements of the collection system of SSS, the agency recently introduced real-time posting of contributions as they partnered with Globe Telecom Inc as GCash can use to pay various SSS payments.

According to the President and CEO of SSS, Emmanuel Dooc, all companies and employers registered with the SSS can pay the employees’ contribution through GCash. The payment will be posted real-time in their accounts by using the payment reference number. Payment of contributions is mad easier and faster because employers, both business and household can make payments by using their mobile phones.  The GCash facility is a mobile application offered by Globe or Touch Mobile free for prepaid and postpaid subscribers.

To use the GCash facility, the employers should use the system-generated payment reference number that they can get from the official website of SSS or at My.SSS portal. The employer can register by dialing *143# or downloading the GCash app.

A 4-digit PIN or Personal Identification Number will be assigned to each employer after successful registration. Before completing the registration, some information should be provided including the complete address of the business, first and last name of the business’ representative, and household employers’ first and last name along with the address.

To pay SSS contributions via GCash, you can dial *137 and follow the steps listed below:

• From the list of billers, select 2 if the employer is a National Government Agency.
• Select “SSS Employer/Household” and press 1 for contribution.
• Enter the PRN of the employer and click “Submit”.

The employer using GCash for paying the SSS contributions will receive a confirmation text including the employer ID number, PRN, applicable payment period and other payment details.

In addition, OFWs, voluntary, and self-employed members can also remit their contributions through GCash. This is a safe option of paying contributions because GCAsh requires PIN to complete the transaction.
