Sought after actress and model Beauty Gonzales amazed many people when she portrayed the role of Romina Mondragon in the 2018 Philippine drama series “Kadenang Ginto“. Just like her role in the said TV show, Beauty is also a strong person, a loving wife, and a mother. Beauty is a proud Bisaya actress from Dumaguete City and her first showbiz stint was when she joined ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2008.

After winning 4th place in PBB she was given many opportunities as she starred in many TV shows, movies and even got a chance to be featured in FHM Magazine in 2014. She was engaged to businessman Norman Crisologo in March 2017 and got married in May of the same year.

Beauty again surprised many netizens when she announced that she joined the training for the Special Operations Unit (SOU) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Aviation Security Group.
“Siyempre noong ECQ sobrang lockdown talaga. Talagang nasa bahay lang kami. After ECQ, GCQ I tried something new. I tried something na hindi mo ma-imagine. So I’m doing Police training now for the Special Operations Unit (SOU) of the (PNP) Aviation (Security) Group. So, they are training me for the anti-hijacking terrorism,” Beauty mentioned during the interview.

Her experience during the pandemic outbreak made her realize a lot of things. She said that she wanted to try something new and be productive at the same time. Beauty also shared:
“So ‘yan ang isa sa mga bagay na ginawa ko ngayon. And I’m happy to be part of it kasi it’s something new at para siyang eye-opener sa atin kasi nakikita ko ‘yung different point of view ng mga tao.”

Joining the Philippine National Police is not a joke. The training and simulations are very tough and will really test your physical, mental, and emotional capacity. Beauty is also encouraging people who have the heart for public service to join the PNP. As long as you’re a college graduate, aged 18 to 30 years old and at least 5-foot-5, Filipino, and willing to be trained then you are very welcome to join the training.
“Talagang nakaka-inspire kasi this is a career na magbibigay sa iyo ng dignity, camaraderie and you are serving the Philippines. Iba ‘yung feeling to serve the Filipinos,” Beauty added.
