Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles plans to get married in Machu Picchu

If a couple is secured, contented and happy with each other, everyone expects that they will get married. However, people nowadays have a different mindset with regards to getting married. For many, it is something that shouldn’t be rushed especially if the relationship is doing well without the benefit of marriage. If in the past, getting married is the most important thing for a couple, nowadays, they think otherwise. Some couple doesn’t want marriage to get in the way of a fruitful career and they are contented with just being together as long as they are on the same boat.

One of the best examples of this kind of set-up is celebrity couple Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles who have been together for 17 years. The two have been blessed with two kids. Aubrey’s eldest son with former boyfriend JP Obligacion also lives with them and Troy treats him like his own son. During an interview of PEP with Aubrey, the actress was asked if they have plans of getting married because Troy’s younger brother KC Montero had recently tied the knot in the U.S. Aubrey admitted that they have been discussing about it once in a while and if it happens, they want to get married in a “wild” location. She wants the wedding to take place in Machu Picchu, Peru. The couple has already inquired if they can have their wedding in the place and were glad to know that there would be no problem doing so.

Machu Picchu is an ancient civilization on top of a mountain in Peru. If a couple getting married is religious, the ceremony that takes place on the uppermost part of Machu Picchu symbolizes getting married near God literally. The actress added that she wants to relate the highest art of Machu Picchu with the strength of her relationship with Troy. Aubrey revealed that if she will only consider herself, she’s already contented with their current status as a couple but as a mother, she has to do it for the sake of her children.
